UNICEF goodwill ambassador Angelique Kidjo’s passion to eliminate HIV/AIDS in Africa is no secret, as the world has witnessed her dedicate herself ,and her music, in contribution to fight the stigma.
For the past six years as the goodwill ambassador, the Bernin-born songstress has travelled throughout Africa with one aim in mind, to strengthen the core of HIV/AIDS education in Africa, and to prevent child and maternal mortality.
This year, to mark the importance of World AIDS Day, Angelique journeyed to South Africa and Dakar for a musical campaign against HIV/AIDS.
